ENGLISH 2100

Now that it's the end of the spring semester (2018) looking back, I can say a few things. For one it would be how much I appreciate all the writing and reading I had to do. At the beginning of the semester it seemed like taking all the time to set aside would be a great challenge. I'm taking a chance of having more than one class for the semester. Let me tell you that I am quite the skilled juggler but this class I feel put me to the test. The next thing I can tell you is how much I appreciated the feedback from my professor. Sometimes as a student it can seem that I'm not getting much feedback at all but for this class, my teacher took the time to give me hers. I have come to appreciate all the writing I have been doing because I feel like it really helped me improve my skills. The weekly readings guided me through different aspects of how to have professional writing which is very important for anyone that wants to have a growing career. Lastly, I liked the peer reviews that we did for our project submissions. I enjoyed helping my fellow students with different point of views as well as them giving me their thoughts and opinions. It helped me catch any of my mistakes and helped me to realize things that I can work on for improvement.

In review of Project 3, it takes me to looking at pieces of my own work. From a stand point of seeing how far I've come and how much I have grown in such little time. "Practice makes perfect," as the saying goes. This experience of focused writing I have come to appreciate. Plus looking at the pieces I have submitted lets me review some of the experiences I've had in my life as well as some of the invested research that I have committed to, which in my opinion is pretty cool. It has helped me feel like I'm no longer timid in my skills as a writer. Below are 3 pieces of my work that I am proud to show to you today. In the end, to my professor Ms. Stone, thank you for all that have you have done.
